Breaking is about Belonging
At a time when social isolation, digital addiction, and polarized world views disrupt healthy childhood development and erode community, we have seen breaking and hip hop culture bring young people together, heal self-esteem, and inspire respect, grit, and aspiration. Empowered youth who understand what a healthy community looks like carry those values into every relationship, fostering hope for the future.
Breaking traditionally happens in a circle. The circle breaking and reconfiguring to create room for everyone embodies our mission of belonging.
